Rust Belt

This series of photohraphs illostrates my fascination with heavy steel structures and the decay that results from their
use, weather impact and finally, neglect. The spectacular weight,and density of the materials, especially when combined with redundant design results in load bearing super structures of massive capacities.The lack of simple maintenance, a seeming refusal to nurture of even care, evokes an emptiness, and seems to reflect a raw selfish wastefulness.
